You can choose some of the small chapels that are available by the sea to make your wedding ceremony extra special, like, St. Nicholas on the beach of Agia Anna, the most popular beach of the island, St. Prokopios on the also popular beach of St. Prokopios, as well as the picturesque church of Virgin Mary on the remote reef of Parthena opposite the beach of Mikri Vigla.

Maria, an experienced wedding planner, with her team, can guarantee a night of special moments and electrifying atmosphere, promising you a magical evening underneath the stars and overlooking the endless blue horizon.

You will be able to enjoy the beautiful sunset, as you listen to the waves splashing onto the shore, while sipping champagne, wine, or a cocktail. As your guests arrive, they can enjoy cocktails while they savor tasty appetizers and mingle with others.

For the main course, popular options are fish and/or meat accompanied by local island specialties and wine. We tend to serve the special local delicacies on separate platters, in order to give you and your guests the opportunity to savor the distinct flavors of the local cuisine.

Your wedding day

Have you decided on how you will get to the church? Seeing that cars are passé, why not opt for a more traditional means of transport. You can get to the church by sailboat or even hire a horse and carriage!

The most traditional way would be on foot, followed by a procession of musicians and your guests. Upon your arrival at the church, we will make sure that a table of cool refreshments await you.

An aperitif of our local raki will help you relax and put at ease even your most difficult guest or family member.

Also there is the chapel of Agios Nikolaos, on the beach of Agia Anna, the most popular beach of the island with ocean view. Catholic ceremony? …you have the option of the Venetian Catholic Church located in the old town of Castro, Chora.

Another interesting alternative would be to hold the ceremony at the Portara, a significant landmark on Naxos which was built in the 6th century BC paying homage to Apollo, the God of Sunlight. This area is truly breathtaking as it overlooks the Aegean as well as the town of Naxos.
